Rural Crime

Rural Crime has increased steadily over the years with the main issues being thefts of metal, machinery, Quad Bikes, livestock, fuel, and Break ins to isolated and many not so isolated premises. Much of the equipment goes abroad often to countries further afield than would have previously been thought possible. Large machinery can often be in containers and have left the country before the theft has been discovered let alone Police enquiry instigated to trace the items and culprits. Identification of items can often prove difficult due to lack of identifiable marks or serial numbers.

What is Effective Crime Prevention ?

By far the most effective crime prevention system is a community that is observant, watch their own and neighbours property then firstly communicate any suspicious activity to Police then to their neighbours. Neighbourhood Watches or Farm Watches that are active and make the effort work well. This is not always the case and in areas where there have been problems people are active then become complacent after periods of no incidents. This is where both physical and monitoring equipment becomes essential. We can offer a range of measures to raise the alert of intrusion or thefts and raise the security of the premises above the ´threat level´.

Perimeter Protection

We supply and install a selection of Solar Powered Para-beam Detectors. These devices monitor distances up to 60 metres then transmit back to a premises up to 700m distance and can either alert on a low audible tone of for example someone approaching by drive way or wherever they are placed. They can also signal alarm states to either siren systems or phone pre-programmed telephone numbers including mobile numbers. These can use the existing phone line or by utilising a mobile network. Up to 8 sets of beams can be installed notifying which zone has been breached. The potential applications for these devices is without limit.

CCTV

You can spend an unlimited sum on CCTV but we tend to provide low cost systems that do the job and which in time can be modified to meet changing threats. Connection to the Internet and use of a SMART Mobile Phone enables the recipient of a beam alarm call to check the CCTV live and see who or what has triggered the perimeter protection. Fuel Thefts

Another increasing problem particularly heating oil and diesels fuels both red and white. Heating Oil Tanks are by their design often placed with easy access to public roads making the uploading by powerful pumps a quick process. We can supply and install Fuel Tank warning systems which will activate if the level drops by a greater rate than would normally be expected thus generating a wireless alarm signal to either a siren or dialler system which again can be used to check CCTV over SMART Phones where fitted.

Vehicle or Quad Bike Tracking Systems

A simple system that ha virtually little running costs can be attached to a vehicles using its own electrical system. The Unit can either be programmed to send a text message to a pre-programmed number giving the vehicles Co-ordinates and speed or a set of co-ordinates can be set and if the vehicles moves out-with those it will activate text notification. Sending a text message to the unit returns the co-ordinates of its location.

Short Term Security Issue ?

Investing in a range of Security Systems can be expensive and often our clients have a short term problem that they wish to resolve or the culprit identify. All our products are available for short or long term rental with a minimum of two months and small installation fee.
